Together with Kha Son commune (Phu Binh district, Thai Nguyen province) and Hoang Van commune
(Hiep Hoa district, Bac Giang province), Tien Phong commune (Pho Yen district) were selected to be the safe zone II by the Central and Northern Party Committee (ATKII). Here, in Mr. Ngo Hai Long’s house is the place where General Secretary Truong Chinh and other comrades: Hoang Quoc Viet, Nguyen Hai Luc, Nguyen Trong Tinh… stayed and worked for many times; Soi Quyt, where located the Party’s secrete communication; Ms. Hoang Thi Uc (Ms. Ty) was place printing “Liberation Flag” Newspaper in 1942; Ms. Luu Thi Phan where organized meetings and published newspapers and documents of the Party.Tien Phong comm Tien Phong commune Historical Revolutionary Relic was recognized as a national level relic in 1993.
